In-house Reviewer (for Hungarian)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing translations, reviews and quality control tasks on assigned projects
  • Informing local Project Manager of project progress
  • Discussing project issues, such as problems with deadlines, with the Language Lead and the local Project Manager in a timely manner
  • Preparing language part of project: glossaries, style guides (TMs, work instructions)
  • Managing and maintaining language materials (including glossaries and TMs) up to quality standards and up to date as instructed by Language Team Lead and/or as required by project
  • Implementing quality procedures within projects and assume responsibility of overall project language quality

Requirements

  • Degree in English Literature, Translation, Business or relevant field
  • Work experience in Localization services is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
  • Fluent English plus a minimum of one other language is advantageous
  • Excellent financial awareness, enthusiasm and hard working attitude
  • Knowledge of standard CAT packages (Trados, SDLX, Catalyst etc.) advantageous

Project Manager

The role of Project Manager will involve all aspects of leading a Project Management & Quality Management on Account level. The Project Manager will have a full understanding of each client’s overall business requirements, and proactively ensure that these are being fulfilled. The role requires innovative thinking and collaboration with internal technical, production, quality, language and sales teams.

The Project Manager must demonstrate leadership and client facing skills, an ability to plan, and a detail-oriented project management focus. The successful candidate will have experience of providing business support, scoping client requirements and implementing best practice for project delivery while ensuring client satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Resource planning skills to ensure that the team is structured to meet both planned and unplanned peaks in demand for services
  • Ability to give hands on support to the team during peak periods
  • Client satisfaction ownership
  • Setting goals and performance management process for all team members
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget in accordance with client requirements
  • Being point of escalation for the client in addressing and resolving any issues that arise during any project
  • Identification of new client opportunities and input into proposals
  • Use of business intelligence, quality & productivity metrics for continuous improvement
  • Facilitating effective communication between all stakeholders
  • Continually working with Management Team in planning and monitoring the supply of external resources to meet the client’s requirements

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working in Localization (5 years or more)
  • Degree in English language Study
  • Proven project management expertise (5 years)
  • Proven project and quality management expertise (5 years)
  • Experience managing distributed and remote teams
  • Excellent financial, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to problem solve and think strategically in a deadline driven environment
  • Familiarity with a dynamic fast turnaround project management office would be a distinct advantage
  • Team player with proven leadership qualities
  • Knowledge of localization tools, TMS systems, workflow and content management systems, spreadsheets and reporting tools will be essential
